AGE OF THE SPIRIT
Something that had been scratching me in my spirit man for a long time. I prayed about it, asked God, "What are you trying to tell me?" He said, "I want you to pray, because am releasing a tremendous wave of glory on my people". I decided to pray further, and he began giving me more revelations concerning it. I want to share all these revelations through this blog, that the world might know and might believe and partake in this latter day blessings of the Almighty God. I believe we have entered a new phase of the Spirit.
God's Spirit took me to Joel 2:23
"Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain and the latter rain in the first month."
Rain in this prophecy signifies glory. Manifestation of God's glory. Not just in Joel, some of the other prophets have mentioned this former and latter glory. Now God's Spirit classified the former glory which represents the glory of our previous fathers of faith, such as Smith Wigglesworth, Kenneth Hagin, A.A Allen, Magareth Etter Woodsworth, Macpherson, Kathryn Kulman etc - He described them as moderate. He said, ..."he has given you the former rain moderately". They have come and have passed. They did great and mighty works, and God classifies them as moderate. What is in God's mind. I have read the acts of these mighty people, they shook the foundation of the world. I studied the Welsh Revival, Charles Finney Revival, Lakeland Revival. I studied the healings of Kathryn Kulman, Kenneth Hagin, A.A Allen. It was too mighty. Great things happened during those days. This were the days of the Great Awakening. People had just become conscious of the anointing of the Holy Spirit, Faith, Righteousness etc. Yet God said all these he classified as moderate. What could be greater than Smith Wigglesworth who recorded 23 people raised from dead or Kathryn Kulman who walked in the air and whose miracles were uncountable and so many more preachers. How could moderate be the description of the Scottish Revival by John Weasley. Well God said they are moderate, then they must be moderate.
"I will cause to come down (like a storm, with full force, with might and power) the rain (glory), the former rain (glory and the latter rain (glory) in the first month.
Now God is promising us something greater. The former glory of these past ministers were moderate, but he planned something far better. A greater glory that will propel us to higher heights. In this dispensation, he will storm us not just the former glory of our legends in Christ, but also the latter glory. We don't know what this latter glory is like. Not only are we going to surpass our legends and Generals in the race, but we will recieve something they could only dream of. A far greater manifestation than they could imagine. The bible said that the glory of the latter is greater than the former. So we know by default, that the glory of the latter is far greater than the former.
What is the glory? The glory of God refers to the revelation of the identity of God. It refers to his splendour, majesty, appearance, characteristics. God is going to reveal himself in a more plain way. God is looking for vessels who will make themselves ready for his wonderful work. He is looking for men full of passion, faithful to service, vessels unto honor, vessels of gold (2 Tim 2:20).
This is the era of manifestation. It is a time for manifestation of signs and wonders. in verse 28 and 29 of Joel 2, he said he was going to wrought signs and wonders in the earth. Supernatural proof of his existence. The Holy Spirit told me that even skeptics and atheists are going to be convinced in this great move. He will show and prove the truth of the word through unusual signs. the bible says he confirmed the words of the apostles with signs following. Creative miracles will begin on rampant. God is doing a quick work.
These are the days of the Spirit, It is time to gear up for what the Spirit wants us to do.
