ARISE AND SHINE

There are times when you feel as if you are on a downside, like there is something missing. When you feel that the cash is not forth coming and then you begin to depend on men rather than on your faith. All what you have been praying for, seems to be impossible. I was on that kind of feeling until God taught me with this chapter. Isaiah 60:1

Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.

I like the way amplified bible translation put it

Arise from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you - rise to a new life)! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord for your light has come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you

This takes a conscious effort. though u re depressed, but stand up. It is your choice to stand or to keep lying down. But God gives you the reason to arise, the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. The glory has no business on the ground. So stand up from your depression, rejoice and radiate. One might ask, how do i shine. One of the symptoms of the glory of God shining in someone is untold joy. radiate with joy and gladness, laugh cos you rule the world. There is a difference between shining and having light. You see, this person had light, but a candle under the bushel might have light but it is not seen. Shining describes when the light is shinning for every one to see. a city on a hill can not be hid. So now rise and get up from the obscurity of your light, so you can shine the light of God. the light of God did not come on you when you arose, but even when you were down. Now God says you should shine by rising up and shine the light. Light refers to illumination, revelation, solution, answers, speed. The solution to your issue and challenge lies within you. you need to manifest the light of God placed within you. Rise up from your depressiion. What you need is not far from you. 

The Living bible translation is the best

Arise my people! Let your light shine for all the nations to see! For the glory of the Lord is streaming from you.

That word streaming, is like gushing out like a spring, like forcing itself outself with so much energy. God's glory is streaming from you. The irony of the matter is that this happens when things are getting bad, cos if you read vs 2,

For behold, darkness shall cover the earth and gross darkness the people, but the Lord shall rise upon you and his glory shall be seen on you.

Last year, at about december 18, God showed me a revelation of all that was going to happen in this year. He told me the world will be dark, and that the darkness will be tangible. He said it will spread throughout. Now when we look at it, it happened exactly like he said, cos he told me there will be poverty, death, sickness, sufferings, loss of jobs, cries, atrocities, natural disasters etc. He said to me that the system of the world is going towards chaos. This is because of the lawlessness of the land. Even if Boko Haram goes, a greater evil will come. But God said this is not for his people, cos he has provided a different part for his people. If you read the 2nd part of the passage, he said, But the glory of the Lord shall be seen upon you. The idea is that the people that are suffering will see the children of God living large, and will be drawn to God. It is only the glory of God on a man that draws people to that man. chek out moses, david. In the cave of abdullam, dose who were discontented, in debt, in distress came to him and he turned them to mighty men of David. Once you begin to shine God's glory, God will send people to you. if you look for people without the Glory of God shining, you wont get. Jesus told Peter to put out his net. Peter recieved a lot of fish that almost sank his ship. Afterwards Peter forsook all and followed him, leaving the ship and his father there. And so did a lot of people. Jesus was not begging them to follow him, they just loved him cos of the glory of God in his life.

If you read the vs 3 of Isaiah 60, you will understand that the people you need to come to solve that challenge are coming to you, but they are waiting for you to manifest God's glory. The whole creation waiteth earnestly for the manifestation of the Son's of God. What are you waiting for. Show forth God's glory, unveil your identity, the identity of the only Son of God, full of grace (influence) and truth (reality). That means you can change reality. you dictate reality. God is luking for people who will be tired of this normal world and seek for something greater. I found out that the exact power to create the world is in our spirit. i.e. if God wanted to create the earth again, he could use one of us to do so. We need to strenghten this glory.

This takes me to the difference between being energise and strengthen. To energise is to infuse with energy. To be inputed with so much energy. To be strengthened is to increase in capacibility to utilize that energy. Just like muscles, your glory has to be strengthen for you effectively influence the whole world at your will. you nid to strengthen urself through spiritual exercises. this is the reason why sometimes you make declarations, you had faith for it, but yet it doesnt work, cos of poor spiritual exercise, you have the energy but lack the capability to use that energy to do work. 

But ye beloved, stir up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost. (jude:30).

But ye beloved , build yourselves up (founded) on your most holy faith (make progress, rise like an edifice, higher and higher), praying in the Holy Spirit.

Jesus told his disciples one time, that this kind does not go except by prayer and fasting. This doesnt mean that the person need to pray immediately he sees the devil. But this person is someone who is used to exercising himself in spiritual matters. Besides, Jesus had not yet conquered the devil then. They had not yet been defeated, he was functioning from the old covenant. But his resurrection signified his total defeat and harrasment of the devil and the whole host of hell. And guess what, we were with him then and are still in him. "If any man be in Christ..." (2Cor 5:17)

There is so much u can do, there is so much God has put inside of us. Whenever i think of the real reason Jesus died, I get so excited, cos its numerous, its too advantageous. Get connected, stay in that realm. Join the chariot, taking us to different realms of glory. Happy new year
