Understanding the Kingdom Pt 2

In the earlier post, we treated the concept of the Kingdom and reviewed how man lost his kingdom to the devil and became a peasant and a slave in his own domain. Now many exist in this same domain till now as slaves. The gospel is a message of the Kingdom. It is a message to tell men that they are free to live as kings on earth and to reign in this life. I will like to give some quotes from my mentor, Dr. Myles Munroe

The person who cannot see the ultimate, becomes a slave to the Immediate.

True freedom is therefore the liberty to dominate the earth through one's unique gifts and talents in fulfillment of God's purpose for one.

Freedom is the liberty to fulfill God's will in serving others with the gift of that purpose without restricting or controlling another while that person fulfills his or her purpose and serves you.

These quotes butresses my point on the message of the Kingdom. Since the fall of man, man had been a slave of the immediate. Jesus came with a message and a sacrifice only those who see the ultimate can be free from the immediate hardship. He likened himself to the silver serpent that was hung on a tree as a redeeming action to the israelites in the wilderness when a plague came on them. Only those who looked at this symbol were healed. those who didnt see, were victims of their immediate situation. I see many in the same situation. They cry to God for help, God gives the solution in a symbol and tells us to see, but many have refused to and therefore became victims of their circumstances. Yet his word says, "In all these things, we are more than conquerors". My goal is to send this message to all the people through my work.
Jesus came to earth for a purpose, to restore the glory of the Kingdom into the hearts of men. To establish the Kingdom mentality into the people once more. John his forerunner, was sent to do something similar.
Luk 1:17  And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom (Grk Phronensis - meaning mentality or mindset) of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord. So he came to restore the mindset of the Just (righteous). This is not a religious scripture. It is a political one. The church has made the concept of righteousness to be religious. Righteousness is not a religious word but a political one. It is defined as right standing which leads to right living. Right standing can only be understood by those who are familiar with the monarch system of government. It means to be rightly position. It speaks more of position in favor with the King than acts which attracts favor from the King. So the Just, is that person who is positioned in the seat of power among the nobles. Kings have a mindset, a mentality, a way of thinking and reasoning. There is the sense of importance. Look at Paul's words to the church (which also is not a religious organization but a political one).
1Co 3:21  Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;
1Co 3:22  Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;

Kings have a sense of ownership, a sense of self worth or esteem. A sense of belonging.
2Ti 1:7  For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Jesus death took care of the payment required for the repurchasing of the freedom of men from the eternal bondage satan placed on him. Remember God is the true King of the earth. and for him to revoke the agreement which he made with man to handle the earth and for God to take back the reign of the earth, Jesus had to die and rise up for man to be restored.
Now have we been made free. the Kingdom of God is in our hearts. the glory of the Kingdom has been restored. Jesus died, went to hell and defeated the devil and made a public show of them. He has risen far above all the limitations of death and hades for our justification. Justification is a legal concept. It doesnt refer to the forgiveness of sin or presidential pardon. It refers to acquittal, vindication. to be justified is not that someone paid the price for you and you are then forgiven. but it is to say that you are not guilty and apologies for disturbing you. God didnt just forgive us, he justified us. We have this new life in Christ. A free entrance into his kingdom. God's kingdom is a kingdom of priests and kings. So we all, citizens of this glorious kingdom are coronated as Kings on earth.
Some one may say, all these things are beautiful and nice, but how do I live as a King. First and foremost, develop your mind. Stop thinking lack and impossibility. There is the glory of the King living in us now. we function from that Glory. We act excellently because of that glory.
2Co_4:7  But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

I have confidence in myself now, not because of my ability, but that I have got the limitless ability of the Most High God in me. My abilities are limited, but his ability has made up for my inabilities. All i need to do is to relate and function from his own ability.

Heb_11:3  Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Since that which are seen(exist), were not made of the physical things but spirit. God is a Spirit and he functions from that spiritual realm. Then he must intend for me to control the physical tangible things through the Spirit. This is why Paul admonishes us to operate from the spirit.

Gal 5:25  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
This is the secret of Jesus. why he was so successful. This is also the secret of Paul.
Joh 14:10  Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
1Co 15:10  But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

Let us change our worlds. rule, reign. It is our inherent destiny. It is our purpose. It is our call. It is our inheritance. Rom 5:17  For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
How much more shall we reign in life. Christians are used to being poor. This is wrong, we do God an injustice
