ST102c: Functions of the Anointing (The prophetic)

Okay. Its been a while since the last post on this topic. So I will delve into this intricate part of the ministry of the anointing in our lives as ministers and in the people we minister to. As usual, this post is targeted to some select group of people and therefore maybe bugwash to others. If it is nonsense to you, pls forgive me and ignore completely, else, be blessed and I hope it teaches you a lesson I didn’t learn easily and on time. Time runs out.

The prophetic anointing can so easily be mistaken to be the Holy Spirit. I will show you the little bit difference. But you must know that the anointing is a tool and a person all the same. The tool was given by the person and for a purpose. How this tool is being used is well within the jurisdiction of the user. For instance, when Elijah called down fire from heaven upon 100 soldiers sent to bring him to the King, it wasn’t God who threw fire from heaven on those guys, it was Elijah. In fact, I strongly doubt God even supported it, because when James and John the sons of Zebedee, beloved disciples of Jesus and part of his inner circle of his cult (heheheh) threatened to do same for those who refused Jesus lodging in a particular village, he rebuked them and chided them for thinking it.

Luk 9:54-56 KJV  And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?  (55)  But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.  (56)  For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.

You see, God had said even in the old testament that he took no pleasure in the death of sinners but rather in their salvation. God is Just and as such metes out punishment accrued to the people. Elijah’s judgment had no judgment but a mere show of power. Well, his point was well taken and duly noted.

Another instance was of course Elijah slaying of 32 youths with a curse. Now many atheists have pinned this on God, but again, God had nothing to do with it. Now, I know what someone will say. Why don’t God put a check on these his servants? To do that, will require him taking away their will power. That is why with the New testament, man’s nature is transformed with love and he fully understands that the purpose of his existence is for the life and the transformation of people. This is why I cry out against these Ministers that call for the death of enemies. This is highly barbaric. Our sole existence is for salvation and life. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is life eternal. God’s reply for sin is life. I know, that’s crazy! I believe so too. I personally being a constant benefactor of this lottery know it to be completely true. God’s response to your sin is life. Romans 5 says when sin abounds, grace the more abounds (Rom 5:20). This was why sinning even became more painful for me. A final example is Moses who struck the rock twice as opposed to speaking to the rock and ended up incurring God’s wrath and judgment. Now why didn’t God stop the water from flowing. How did Moses perform that miracle yet disobeying God? It brings me to a terrible statement am going to make that am fond of making. The power that the Devil uses today is called the Anointing of God. I know how that sounds in your ears. So if you have questions about that you can ask and criticize as much as you like.
