Secrets of wealth Pt 3: The keys of the Kingdom
And Jesus
answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon
Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my
Father which is in heaven.
And
I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my
church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
And
I will give unto thee the keys of the
kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound
in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
(Matt 16: 17
– 19)
Every Christian is a citizen of heaven and have been born
into the Kingdom of God. It is beautiful to note that being born into the
Kingdom, he has access into all the Kingdom’s wealth because he was born as the
Prince of the Kingdom. The bible says that we are Joint-heirs with Christ. So
therefore we inherit all that Christ has. This means we have access to every
opportunities in this Kingdom.
Now, if Nigerian government requires that every citizen in
Nigeria should present their National ID card at any bank and receive an amount
of N500,000 cash. And some Nigerians are not aware and therefore do not receive
any money, are they not to be blamed for their poverty?
The keys of the Kingdom has been given for all Christians to
enjoy and to have access to the treasures of the Kingdom, but God’s children
have been stricken with mediocrity. Some people classify mediocrity as a middle
position between poverty and wealth. This is not however, true. Mediocrity is
poverty in its real sense. This is why Jesus came to point us back to the
Kingdom. He came crying in the streets of Judea, “Repent (go back to where you
came from), for the Kingdom of God is at hand”. What is that place? To the
Kingdom mindset, where the Lord was King as he led them through the hand of
Moses out of Egypt into the Promised Land. Can the Lord reign in your heart
today and in your mind? Can his thoughts fill you and his mindset become your
mindset? There is so much to enjoy in God, you have to seek his mind to know
what they are.
But as it is
written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart
of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
But God hath
revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for
the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
For what man
knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so
the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
Now we have
received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we
might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
(1 Cor
2:9-12)
So it is given to us to search out the deep things of God by
His Spirit given to us and to locate and function and be enriched by these
mysteries.
These keys are his principles. I have stated this in my book,
“Top of the Food Chain”, the Principles of God never change, but his methods
might change. His principles make him God. So you might have God and yet not be
wealthy. Simply because you are ignorant of his principles. You have refused to
acquire his keys and enjoy his wealth and then the whole world mocks Christ
because of the Christian. We must cease from being a mocking stock for Christ
and receive his glory. His glory is not for poverty nor for sickness, nor for
oppression from demons.
With this alone, you can blow in wealth, even without knowing
the keys and treating them separately. But we shall treat that next. So till
next time on your favorite Christian blog. Have a nice day. God bless you. And
don’t forget to mail me and to comment if you have been blessed by these write
ups.
