Unlimited Personality Pt 2
Welcome once again to my blog and thanking you for your correspondence in this series. I hope the first part was a blessing to you as it was to me.
Now, whenever i talk about we Christians being Gods, many begin to get fearful and shrink away believing this to be another mysticism edging its way to the heart of Christianity. They term it New Age churches. I don't believe truth to be dependent on church or doctrine. Truth is absolute and reality is sure. Every other facet might just be opinion.
Sometimes, people call it controversial. They say, "if this was God's plan, how come the Apostles didnt call themselves gods".
I will quell down such questions with just 3 scriptures. 2 from Paul and 1 from Peter. That in two or three witnesses let truth be established.
And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God (Eph 3:19).
Now, he is making clear God's plan for us which is to be filled with all the fulness of God. This is the mission for which Christ came. This was the great purpose. The mystery hid since ages. Let me dish out the rest verses before explaining this in full.
For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Till we all come in the unity of the Faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
Again, he makes plain the essence of the ministry of the Servants of God sent for our benefit, till we come into that measure of the Perfect Man, which is the fulness of Christ. I hear a lot of Christians console themselves in idiocy with this statement, "There is no one perfect, but we are all heading towards perfection,". They try to feign a sort of false humility in order not to claim completeness. But this is a cloak in an attempt to permit the weakness of their flesh. I am not perfect yet, but I will never get perfect by saying I can't be perfect. I will never attain it by continually proclaiming that I am not perfect. You see, our mentality and proclaimations are what will bring us to the height God is calling us. Stop announcing your weakness, you were never meant to have one. Instead announce his strength. You need to reckon that you are dead. A dead man is not weak, but DEAD. This is where the challenge is. The limitation, the boundary all exist in our mind. Overcome there and you are the fullness of God.
That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. (Eph 4:24).
Just look at what he is saying here. He is saying you should discard every notion of the old man (the old, wrinkled, weak man, full of faults and helplessness). This is your old self. The one you have been referring to by saying you are not perfect. Paul is saying, discard that guy and put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. This means that this new man was formed in God's DNA. Having all of God's strength and no weakness for God has none. You can only be this by faith. This is why he said "And be renewed in the spirit of your mind". That is where the change comes. In Rom 12:2, he said, "Be transformed by the renewal of your mind". This is why this message is come to you now. The greek word for transform is 'metomorphoo' meaning to change into another form, to transfigure. Many are trying to conform to God's word. You see, with us, we dont conform. It is the world that conforms. This is why he said, "Dont conform to the world", but for us he says, "be ye transformed". In conformation, you are beaten into shape.
But as we behold as in a glass, we are transformed (metamorphoo) into that same image. As we see who we are in God, we are changed. Renew your mind today and begin to experience unlimited Godlike abilities in you and fulfill your heavenly father's dream for you.
I had promised you another scripture from Peter.
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. (2 Pet 1:3-4).
Amazing! He is saying that God laid down great promises that we might be sharers or co-participators in the divine nature of God. How cool is that?! Now this is not just to excite you but to prepare for your purpose. So many are looking for purpose but here it is now. God predestined you to be God over this world. Not to Lord it over them but to nuture this world, bringing healing to the sick, strength to the weak, help to the helpless, wealth to the poor. This is the summary of the gospel.
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised. (Luke 4:18).
First of all, the Spirit of the Lord here is what made us Gods. No one is divine without the Holy Spirit. This is why i laugh at motivational speakers who say what i am saying now without preaching Christ. They will be frustrated. He is our source and sustenance. Without him, we are worse than sand. Please do not be deceived, if you do not have Christ, you are an empty shell and is dead while living.
Now, he anointed you, which means empowering you by appointment to preach (proclaim the gospel to the poor). I always wonder what message anti-prosperity will preach if sent by God to the poor. The only gospel that will be preached to the poor is that God can make you rich. Kings are not poor.The bible says Jesus became poor so that we might become rich, yet he had a house, a purse and partners in ministry, who ministered to him of their substance. He had an expensive coat, more expensive than the ones the soldiers wore. And by then, the soldiers were 2nd class citizen.
He anointed us to heal the broken hearted (emotional), set free the captives. This is not a message to feed your ego, but to spur you to responsibility . To be God means you are responsible for your world.
Take up your responsibility today and activate the God nature in you. The whole creation waiteth earnestly for your manifestation.
